Federated Investors, Inc Q3 Income Climbs 17%

(RTTNews) - Federated Investors, Inc (FII) released a profit for its third quarter that climbed from last year.

The company said its bottom line climbed to $44.13 million, or $0.42 per share. This was up from $37.56 million, or $0.36 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.40 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 8.0% to $234.32 million. This was up from $216.92 million last year.
