Federated Investors' Funds To Acquire Approx. $1.1 Bln In Assets From Huntington

(RTTNews) - Federated Investors, Inc. (FII) announced it has reached a definitive agreement with Huntington Asset Advisors, Inc. and The Huntington National Bank for the acquisition by Federated of certain assets of Huntington Asset Advisors relating to its management of two money market funds. In connection with the proposed deal, approximately $1.1 billion of Huntington money market fund assets would be transitioned to two Federated money market funds with comparable investment objectives and strategies.

The transition is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
