Exide Awarded Battery Supply Contracts by German Army
Exide will supply approximately 15,000 units of itsmaintenance-free NATO bloc batteries to the German Army formilitary-vehicle applications. The 12-volt/100-amphere-hour gelbatteries are scheduled for delivery in 2005. The batteries will beproduced at Exide's manufacturing plants in Budingen and BadLauterberg, Germany.
