Executive Changes at InFocus Corporation in Europe, Middle East and Africa Business Unit

    WILSONVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2005--InFocus(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:INFS), the worldwide leader in digital projection technology and services, today announced that J.B. Daines has been appointed to Vice President and General Manager of the EMEA Business Unit. In this role, Daines will be responsible for leading the European sales and marketing team to expand the business activities throughout InFocus' European, Middle Eastern and African operations. He replaces Amar Samra who has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager for the global Lines of Business and has relocated to the corporate headquarters in the U.S.
    J.B. Daines has 14 years of technical sales and marketing experience. He joined InFocus in 1997 and fulfilled various International roles in directorial positions within InFocus Corporation. Prior to his current role, he was Director of New Business and Vertical Initiatives.
