EVRY reinforces its work on IT security

(Oslo, 6 June 2014) EVRY announces the appointment of Tore Larsen Orderløkken as Vice President with responsibility for Security, Quality & Risk management throughout the group. Tore Larsen Orderløkken joins EVRY from the Norwegian Centre for Information Security (Norsk senter for informasjonsikring - NorSIS) where he is the Managing Director.

"We are seeing a continuous increase in the scale and frequency of digital attacks, and in many areas society is at risk from unacceptable levels of vulnerability and risk. Collaboration across different industries and sectors is essential if we are to reverse this trend. Tore Larsen Orderløkken will take up his appointment at EVRY at the latest on 1 September 2014, and he will report to Morten Søgård, EVP - Corporate Development. Before becoming the Managing Director of NorSIS in 2006, Tore Larsen Orderløkken worked in the Norwegian Armed Forces for 15 years and in business and industry for 7 years. His previous experience includes communications and encryption systems in the Armed Forces as well as physical and logical information security in an international corporate group. Tore Larsen Orderløkken has a Master's degree in information security from Gjøvik University College and a Bachelor's degree in Telematics, and he has also completed a number of specialist courses in the information security area.

The Norwegian Centre for Information Security (NorSIS) is part of the Norwegian government's comprehensive focus on information security in Norway. NorSIS works under the auspices of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security.
