Euronet Worldwide Q3 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Euronet Worldwide, Inc. (EEFT) reported net income for the third quarter of $35.0 million or $0.64 per share, compared to $47.9 million or $0.92 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted cash earnings per share for the third quarter was $0.80, compared to $0.56 in the prior year quarter.

Revenues for the third quarter rose 26% to $453.4 million from $360.6 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.73 per share on revenue of $420.14 million for the for the third quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking forward, the company expects fourth quarter adjusted cash earnings per share to be about $0.72. Analysts currently expect the company to earn $0.72 per share for the fourth quarter.
