Ericsson's OSS/BSS suite to power better customer experiences for STC subscribers

  • Extensive operations support system/business support system (OSS/BSS) deal provides STC with latest software innovations, features and services
  • STC subscribers to enjoy improved customer experiences through differentiation possibilities
  • Follows long-standing partnership between Ericsson and STC, representing the company's largest OSS/BSS deal to date in the Middle East

Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) and STC, Saudi Arabia, have signed an extensive operations support system/business support system (OSS/BSS) deal that provides seamless  access to  the latest Ericsson software innovations, features and services. As a result of the agreement, STC can deliver an improved customer experience to its mobile subscribers. Through the unique Ericsson solution which integrates Policy and Charging, STC will have a full policy control solution to offer differentiated experiences to customers, with optimized operations and total cost of ownership.

STC will gain access to ongoing Ericsson product releases and performance enhancements, future-proofing investments while staying up to date with market and technology transformation trends.  STC stands to benefit from improved business agility, and lower costs increasing business and operational efficiency.

The deal includes a range of Ericsson products, including Ericsson Charging System, Mobile Broadband Charging, Multi Mediation, Session Border Gateway, Service-Aware Policy Controller, Composition Engine, Catalog Manager, Order Care and Multiservice Delivery Platform.

Services provided by Ericsson under the agreement include solution design, project management, technology consultancy, service enablement, business configuration, development and customization, solution integration and verification, and load testing and acceptance.
