LifeWatch announces arbitration decision in Highmark case

Zug, Switzerland, March 17, 2016 - LifeWatch AG (SIX Swiss Exchange: LIFE), a market leader in the development and sale of digital health solutions, primarily for remote cardiac monitoring and sleep apnea diagnostics, reports that on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, an arbitrator from the International Centre for Dispute Resolution issued a material adverse arbitration decision against its subsidiary, LifeWatch Services, Inc. related to its dispute with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, a private health insurer, over billing and payment practices. The counter-claim for which LifeWatch has been found liable, is once again related to conduct of the former CEO and management in the years 2009-2010. We are in the process of evaluating the decision and are exploring all of our options.
