EPIX Unveils Affiliate Sales and Marketing Team
EPIX, the first multiplatform premium entertainment channel, video-on-demand and online service, today announced Tim Boell as Group Vice President and the lead of the sales group and Andy Hunter as Chief Marketing Officer, in addition to naming the affiliated marketing and sales teams dedicated to launching the channel.
Tim Boell comes to EPIX with a long history in affiliate sales, bringing years of experience in the industry, leadership and strategic direction. Most recently he was with Sundance Channel where he was SVP of Sales and Affiliate Marketing. Prior to his experience at Sundance Channel, Boell worked in various roles at Showtime Networks.
Andy Hunter will move to become Chief Marketing Officer at EPIX, overseeing consumer and affiliate marketing. He previously served as the SVP of Business Development for EPIX. An MTV veteran for over 10 years, he was GM of MTV2, MTV Hits and MTV Jams, overseeing programming, marketing and sales for the channels. Earlier, he worked in the MTV Networks affiliate sales group.
With a tremendous volume of launches across Cox, Mediacom and Charter sytems and Dish nationwide, expanding its reach to over 30 million households, EPIX has expanded the sales and marketing team to support this activity. The new marketing team includes: Lara Salamano, VP; Mike Gnojewski, Director; Ally Cantor, Director; Shane Bookmiller, Manager; Andy Rogers, Manager; Matt DePersis, Coordinator; Sarah Ray, Coordinator; and Nicole Valencia, Assistant. Additional dedicated staffers on the distribution side are: Jeff Arthur; Danielle Salzedo; Cathy Lewis; and Ryan Witt.
