enXco Announces Robert F. Miller to Join Executive Leadership Team

enXco - an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company (PARIS: EEN) today announced the addition of Robert F. Miller as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Mr. Miller brings over 24 years of legal experience with a special emphasis in construction and project finance for energy projects. His legal experience includes work on global power projects ranging from 200MW to 1200MW.

Prior to joining enXco, Mr. Miller served as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of NextLight Renewable Power, LLC. During his tenure the company secured 570MW under PPAs and over 3,487MW in early development. He also guided the company’s legal efforts to establish site control of numerous projects sites throughout the Southwest, including the first long-term lease for a solar project with the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe and the first large-scale solar energy project on U.S. public lands in Nevada.

Mr. Miller also served as Vice President & General Counsel to Altra Biofuels Inc., an ethanol company with operating facilities in California and the Midwest and earlier served as Associate General Counsel to the Engineering & Construction Group and Global Procurement for the Union Oil Company of California (Unocal) where he worked for eight years until its acquisition by Chevron.

Mr. Miller has worked for internationally known law firms including the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia law office of White & Case. He was involved in several landmark matters including, the first international lending transaction in the Saudi Arabian electricity sector, the first limited recourse project financing in Saudi Arabia, and the first independent water and power project in the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Miller, a member of the California, Virginia, and the District of Columbia Bars, earned a B.A. from Claremont Men’s College, M.S. from the University of Southern California, and holds J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he was a recipient of the National Contract Management Scholarship.
