Envision Healthcare Swings To Q3 Profit - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Envision Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (EVHC) reported third-quarter net income of $52.78 million or $0.28 per share, compared to a net loss of $7.66 million or $0.05 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.35 per share, compared to $0.21 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Net revenues for the quarter increased 20.3 percent to $1.15 billion from $955.89 million in the same quarter last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.33 per share on revenues of $1.13 billion for the quarter. Analysts, estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to fiscal 2014, the company continues to expect adjusted earnings in the range of $1.15 to $1.20 per share. Street is currently looking for full-year 2014 earnings of of $1.17 per share on revenues of $4.37 billion.
