Engility Holdings Awarded $61 Mln IDIQ Contract - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Engility Holdings, Inc. (EGL) has bagged a $61 million single award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity or IDIQ contract to provide engineering services and related research, development, test and evaluation efforts in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division or NAWCWD.

As part of this award, Engility would offer wide range of engineering services for the functional organizations, supporting numerous Department of Defense weapons acquisition programs. These services would include design studies and evaluations associated with research, development, production and operations. Also, the work would include the full spectrum of test engineering services, as well as transition engineering and related efforts to transfer new technology from concept to Fleet support. Further, Engility would provide support services required for the management of technical activities. Work would be performed at China Lake, California, Point Mugu, California and Patuxent River, Maryland.

This contract, which represents new work for Engility, is a cost-plus-fixed fee IDIQ contract and is likely to be completed in December 2017.
