Energy Partners LP Annual Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Energy Partners LP (NGL) Friday reported a fall in its annual earnings, reflecting higher costs and expenses during the year.

For the year ended March 31, 2014, the firm's net income allocated to limited partners declined to $33.50 million from $45.02 million last year. Net income per limited partner common unit was down to $0.51 from last year's $0.96.

Annual revenues, however, rose to $9.7 billion from $4.4 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $8.47 billion.

For the full year, the company's cost of sales were $9.13 billion, much higher compared with $4.03 billion in 2013.
