Electronics For Imaging Q1 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (EFII) reported net income for the first quarter of $10.1 million or $0.21 per share, compared to $8.4 million or $0.17 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net income for the first quarter was $20.4 million or $0.42 per share, compared to $15.8 million or $0.33 per share in the prior year quarter.

First quarter revenue rose 10% to $188.69 million from $171.36 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.40 per share on revenue of $186.36 million for the first quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
