Elbit Systems Q3 Profit Increases - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Elbit Systems Ltd. (ESLT), the international high technology company, reported that its GAAP net income attributable to the Company's shareholders for the third quarter of 2015 increased to $49.7 million or $1.16 per share from $35.0 million or $0.82 per share in the third quarter of 2014. The company's results in the third quarter reflected a strong performance in Asia-Pacific, driven by increased defense spending in this region over the past few years.

Non-GAAP net earnings per share improved to $1.46 from $1.03 in the previous year.

Revenues for the quarter grew 5.8% to $764.8 million, from last year's $722.7 million, mainly due to growth in revenues of land systems to Asia-Pacific. This growth was partially offset by a decrease in its C4ISR systems sold to Latin America customers.

The Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.37 per share for the third quarter of 2015. The dividend's record date is November 22, 2015. The dividend will be paid on December 7, 2015.
