Ternitz, 28 October 2016: Schoeller-Bleckmann Oilfield Equipment AG (SBO) has been informed on 26 October 2016 and announces pursuant to Sec 93 (2) BoerseG that Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited (and/or acting for its affiliates) as discretionary investment manager on behalf of multiple managed portfolios ("AAML"), holds, through investment funds and client accounts under management, 788,153 shares representing 4.93% of the voting rights in SBO as at 24 October 2016.

In total, AAML holds 825,153 shares representing 5.16% of the total capital of SBO, which includes 37,000 shares managed by AAML but where the client has retained the right to vote.

As of 24 October 2016, the split of the shares with voting rights attached is as follows: -606,688 voting shares, representing 3.79% of the voting rights -181,465 voting shares which are out on loan and AAML retains the right to recall these lent shares, representing 1.13% of the voting rights (classed as a financial instrument).

Therefore, the total voting rights position has decreased below the threshold of 5% under Article 91b of the Austrian Stock Exchange Act (the sum of shares and financial instruments and comparable positions in other instruments). The percentages have been calculated on the basis of the number of voting rights of SBO as of 24 October 2016 (16,000,000).
