DTS Q2 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - DTS, Inc. (DTSI) Monday reported second-quarter net loss of $2.0 million, or $0.11 per share, wider than $755 thousand, or $0.05 per share, in the same period last year.

Non-GAAP net income for the quarter rose to $2.1 million, or $0.11 per share, from $3.5 million, or $0.21 per share in the year-ago quarter. On average, eight analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.04 per share for the quarter. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues improved slightly to $27.2 million from $21.8 million last year, while eight analysts expected revenues of $26.36 million.
