Dr. Tonmoy Sharma, CEO for Sovereign Health, to Present on Measurement-Based Care at 'The State of Recovery Workshop'

PALM DESERT, Calif., May 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Sovereign Health, a national behavioral health system, is proud to announce that Dr. Tonmoy Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Sovereign Health, will be a guest speaker at the Desert Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists "The State of Recovery Workshop," on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT at RAP Foundation 41-550 Eclectic Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260. Dr. Sharma's presentation will be on: "Using Measurement-Based Care to Enhance Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment."

Dr. Sharma has been a proponent of using measurement-based care to improve treatment outcomes, and he has done more than just talk about it: Dr. Sharma has also been an early adapter by deploying measurement-based care at Sovereign Health's treatment facilities. Recently, The Joint Commission announced that starting in 2018, all facilities wishing to receive or maintain Joint Commission accreditation must utilize measurement-based care to do so.
