Dr. Reddy's Labs To Separate Roles Of Chairman, Managing Director & CEO

(RTTNews) - Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.'s (RDY) board has decided to have separate roles of the Chairman of the company and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Satish Reddy has been named the Board Chairman. Earlier, he held the role of Vice-Chairman, Managing Director & COO. GV Prasad would continue as the Chief Executive, while Prasad has been appointed as the Co-Chairman and Managing Director.

In addition, Dr. Reddy's announced that Abhijit Mukherjee, President, Global Generics, has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, accountable for both the Global Generics and Pharmaceutical Services and Active Ingredients businesses.
