Dover Tightens FY18 Adj. Earnings Guidance - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Dover (DOV) on Thursday tightened its fiscal 2018 guidance range for adjusted earnings from continuing operations to the upper end of the previous range, and is now projected in the range of $4.80 to $4.85 per share, compared to the previous guidance range of $4.75 to $4.85 per share.

This guidance is based on full year revenue growth of about 2 percent, which is comprised of organic growth of 3 percent, acquisition growth of 1 percent, and a favorable impact from FX of 1 percent, partially offset by a 3 percent impact from dispositions.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report earnings of $4.81 per share for the year. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
