Dialight plc: Licensing Agreement Signed with Color Kinetics; Dialight Subsidiary licenses Color Kinetics' patent portfolio to advance market adoption of LED color mixing technology

Dialight plc (FTSE:DIA.L) the UK-listed leader inApplied LED Technology today announces that its US subsidiary,Dialight Corporation, will license Color Kinetics' worldwide patentportfolio to support the accelerated development of Dialight's LEDapplication initiatives in the architectural, entertainment andgeneral illumination markets. The worldwide licence applies to salesin all markets covered by Color Kinetics' patent portfolio. Theagreement also provides Color Kinetics with access to Dialight'spatents as they may relate to enhancements to Color Kinetics'technology.

Dialight Corporation specialises in the application of LED-basedlighting technology and has a broad range of expertise that enablesits OEM partners to develop complete LED-based lighting solutions.Through its agreement with Color Kinetics, Dialight Corporation willnow be able to offer its partners the unique features that are coveredby Color Kinetics' patents - complementing Dialight's ownSpectraMix(R) control system and associated intellectual property.
