RIB Software SE (RIB) acquires 51% of the shares in DATENGUT GmbH, one of the leading German providers of mobile solutions for the construction industry

Stuttgart, Germany, 26 February 2018. RIB Software SE, the world's leading provider of 5D BIM Big Data technology for the construction industry, today announced the acquisition of 51% of the shares in DATENGUT GmbH. As part of a partial transfer of operations, the RIB Group participates in the new company, based in Zwenkau, Leipzig. The new company focuses on the further development of mobile, innovative solutions with connection to the iTWO technology, which are specifically tailored to the construction industry. The former company will continue to focus on its partner business. Half of the purchase price was paid with own shares and cash respectively.

Michael Sauer, Executive Board Member of RIB Group, comments on the agreement as follows: "We are looking forward to work with the young and innovative Datengut team, which has a high level of expertise in the development of mobile solutions for the construction industry. Through the participation, we intend to establish a competence center for mobility, within the RIB Group for the DACH region. The focus here is on the iTWO app-development. By working with Datengut, we will continue to expand our expertise in web-based solutions for the construction industry."
