CHORUS Clean Energy AG assuming operations management for two Lloyd Fonds AG wind farms

Lloyd Fonds AG has transferred operations management for two wind farms to CHORUS Clean Energy AG, Neubiberg near Munich. The Hamburg-based investment and asset manager stated that there are no changes to the ownership structures of the fund entities or the subscriber relationship management by Lloyd Treuhand GmbH.

"We are pooling our capacities to prepare for new real estate and shipping projects," explains Dr. Torsten Teichert, CEO of Lloyd Fonds AG. "For this reason, we have transferred responsibility for the operations management of the two wind farms to an established service provider in the energy sector who will continue to operate our subscribers' wind power systems professionally.

The two funds concerned are "Windpark Breberen" and "Lloyd Fonds Energie Europa".

The "Windpark Breberen" wind farm is located in North Rhine-Westphalia, close to the German-Netherlands borders and was financed via a closed-end investment fund in 2005. It comprises nine proven Vestas V80 wind turbines with a total output of around 18 megawatts.

Located close to the coast in Lairg in the North West Highlands of Scotland, the second wind farm has been on line since 2011 with three Nordex N80/2500 turbines providing a combined output of 7.5 megawatts.
