HMS Bergbau AG: Expansion of Management Board

- Dennis Schwindt appointed as Management Board member responsible for trading activities


Berlin, 11 January 2018: The Supervisory Board of HMS Bergbau AG, one of the leading independent commodity trading and marketing companies in Germany, has appointed Mr. Dennis Schwindt as a member of the Management Board effective immediately. As the Company's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr. Schwindt will be responsible for commodity trading and will continue to oversee the development of special projects and the co-management of foreign subsidiaries. With his addition, the Management Board of HMS Bergbau AG will now consist of three members.

Dennis Schwindt (41) holds a degree in Economics from the Humboldt-University in Berlin. At HMS Bergbau AG, he has been managing several operating projects within the commodity trading area as the company's authorised representative since 2012. He gained extensive experience in engineering and in the oil and gas industries from his previous positions at medium-sized German companies and international groups.

With his proven expertise from his many years at HMS Bergbau AG, he will make a key contribution in the Management Board to implementing the broader strategic targets of the internationally operating group", explained Dr. Hans-Dieter Harig, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HMS Bergbau AG.
