Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG acquires two properties in Meschede and Hattingen

Rostock, 04 May 2018 - Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG (ISIN DE000A2G9LL1) has acquired two further Light Industrial properties in Meschede and Hattingen (both North Rhine-Westfalia) for a total of EUR 2.8 million.

The property in Meschede is located directly on the motorway A46. The tenants are two regional logistics companies, an automotive supplier, as well as a regional furniture store, which all have been using the property for many years. Overall, the property has a leasable area of 6,563 sqm and generates an annual rent of approximately kEUR 186. The purchase price was EUR 1.77 million, with a net initial yield of 10.5%.

The industrial park in Hattingen is located between Bochum and Wuppertal and has good access to major motorways. The property has a leasable area of 2,579 sqm, which is mainly used as storage and production space by medium-sized companies from the region. The annual rent is kEUR 110. The purchase price amounts to EUR 1.05 million, the net initial yield is 10.5%.

The transfer of ownership of the properties is expected in July 2018.

Regarding the latest transactions Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG owns a portfolio of 21 properties with a total rental space of approx. 488,000 sqm., an annualised rent of approx. EUR 15.0 million.
