Berlin,11 October 2016 - The Management Board of Heliocentris Energy Solutions AG (ISIN DE000A1MMHE3) today decided to file an application for the initiation of insolvency proceedings under the company's own administration pursuant to Section 270a of the German Insolvency Code (InsO) with the competent local court of Berlin-Charlottenburg for all German group companies due to insolvency in order to restructure the Company under its own management and control. Reason is the liquidity gap caused by the significantly reduced revenue expectations. The required financing to close this gap could not be secured on time.
