Dr. Rüdiger Kapitza leaves the Executive Board of DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT

Bielefeld, 6 April 2016. The long-standing Chairman of the Executive Board of DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, Dr. Rüdiger Kapitza, has today resigned from his position as Chairman of the Executive Board of DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, in view of DMG MORI CO., LTD.'s intention to conclude a domination and profit transfer agreement with DMG MORI AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT as dependent company. He leaves the Executive Board by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board. After more than 40 years of professional life the 61-year-old Dr. Kapitza is bringing his operative activities to an end. Dr. Kapitza is clearing the way for a personnel realignment taking into account the changed shareholder structure with the majority shareholder DMG MORI CO., LTD. The Supervisory Board thanks Dr. Kapitza for his successful 20-years of service as Chairman of the Executive Board of the company and his more than 30-years of service in the enterprise.

The Supervisory Board will discuss the issue of the future management and further development of the company in its next meeting.
