Air Berlin and easyJet have reached agreement on the sale of certain assets of Air Berlin's air transport business operated from the Berlin-Tegel airport

London, 28 October 2017 - Air Berlin PLC announces that Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG have today signed an agreement with easyJet Airline Company Limited that easyJet Airline Company Limited will acquire from Air Berlin PLC & Co. Luftverkehrs KG certain assets of the air transport business operated from the Berlin-Tegel airport, including the related slots and bookings. The total purchase price amounts to approximately EUR 40 million.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.
