Deltek Appoints Catherine Morales as INPUT Executive Vice President and General Manager

Deltek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PROJ), the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for professional services firms, government contractors, and government agencies, today announced that it has appointed Catherine Morales as its new EVP and General Manager of INPUT. INPUT powers Deltek’s information solutions network, providing leading market intelligence, research, events and analysis that helps companies identify, manage and win more government business. In this position, Ms. Morales will be responsible for leading Deltek’s INPUT business unit, including growing sales and subscriptions, expanding the solutions portfolio and entering new markets and verticals.

For the past five years, Ms. Morales worked at two Reed Elsevier companies – Elsevier Science & Technology and LexisNexis, both leading providers of comprehensive information and business solutions. As Senior Vice President, Government Markets at Elsevier, she developed new products to speed the time from search to discovery for government researchers. At LexisNexis, as Senior Vice President of Government & Academic Markets, she served as General Manager of the business units that provide on-line access to government, academic, and information professionals.

Prior to her time at Reed Elsevier, Catherine served in executive capacities with CGI and its predecessor, American Management Systems (AMS), leading providers of professional services consulting and software and implementation services across several industries. These positions included Vice President, CGI Federal, managing work at U.S. federal agencies in Fairfax, VA; VP, AMS, State and Local Government Executive and VP, Financial Industries Group in New York City; and VP and GM, Global Financial Services in London.

Ms. Morales holds a B.A. in English Literature, cum laude, from the University of Missouri – St. Louis; an M.A. in English Literature from Texas Tech University; an M.L.S. in Information Science, with distinction, from UCLA; and an M.B.A. from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
