Datawatch Q4 Loss Widens

(RTTNews) - Datawatch Corp. (DWCH) reported a net loss for the fourth quarter of $4.87 million or $0.44 per share, compared to a net loss of $2.68 million or $0.37 per share for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net loss for its fourth quarter was $1.93 million or $0.18 per share, compared to an adjusted net loss of $572,000 or $0.08 per share in the prior year quarter.

Total revenue for the fourth quarter rose 35 to $9.05 million from $8.82 million a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.10 per share on revenue of $10.17 million for the fourth quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
