Danto Builders, LLC and Florida Design & Construction Professionals to Host 5th Annual Big Bad BBQ for Special Olympics Florida
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 31, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Big Bad BBQ, benefitting Special Olympics Florida on October 2, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 5601 Powerline Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. Hosted by Danto Builders, LLC., and Florida Design & Construction Professionals, this professional networking event will feature an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet, drinks, live music, a variety of local vendors, an opportunity to mix and mingle with Special Olympics athletes and more – all for a great cause!
Last year, more than 600 design, construction, real estate, property management and affiliated professionals attended the Big Bad BBQ. Together, the community raised more than $35,000 for over 6,100 athletes and 23-year-around Special Olympics sports. This year, event organizers are promising to make Big Bad BBQ bigger, "badder," and better!
"Supporting individuals with disabilities hits home for me and my husband as we both have relatives with Down Syndrome," said Debbie Danto, Co-owner of Danto Builders. "Programs like Special Olympics hold a huge place in my heart because they build skills, confidence and bring pure joy to so many."
