Cypress Streamlines on Synopsys Galaxy Design Platform

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Synopsys, Inc. , a world leader in semiconductor design software, today announced that Cypress Semiconductor Corp. , known for its performance-based process and manufacturing expertise, has signed a multiyear agreement to consolidate its digital IC design flows and methodologies using Synopsys' Galaxy(TM) Design Platform. Cypress will deploy the Galaxy Design Platform for RTL synthesis, design-for-test (DFT), design planning, place-and-route, timing and signal integrity sign-off, extraction, and automatic test pattern generation (ATPG).
