Cypress Semiconductor Recommends Stockholders Vote For All Its Director Nominees

(RTTNews) - Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (CY) said it has filed definitive proxy materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC in connection with its upcoming Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on June 8, 2017.

Stockholders of record as of April 18, 2017 will be entitled to vote at the meeting. In addition, Cypress sent a letter to stockholders urging them to vote the WHITE proxy card "For" all of the company's director nominees, as the company continues to successfully execute on its Cypress 3.0 strategy.

"You have a choice between supporting Cypress' current Board of Directors, which is driving Cypress forward, or allowing T.J. Rodgers - a disgruntled former CEO who was forced to resign from Cypress last year - to regain influence by putting his two handpicked nominees on the Board," Cypress Semiconductor said in the letter to stockholders.
