Cypress Semiconductor Posts Q3 Loss - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (CY) reported a third-quarter net loss to company of $8.36 million or $0.06 per share, compared to profit of $14.32 million or $0.09 per share, last year. Non-GAAP net income attributable to Cypress was $22.02 million or $0.14 per share, for the quarter.

On average, 15 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit per share of $0.12 for the quarter.

Revenues decreased to $188.72 million, from $203.02 million, last year. Analysts expected revenue of $185.41 million for the quarter.

Cypress announced its Board has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.11 per share, payable to holders of record of the company's common stock as of the close of business on September 26, 2013. The dividend will be paid on October 17, 2013.
