Cyberonics Announces New Buyback Of One Mln Shares - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Cyberonics, Inc. (CYBX), a medical technology company, Thursday said that, following substantial completion of its prior share repurchase program, its board of directors has approved a new share repurchase program of one million shares.

The company's board of directors had previously authorized repurchases of shares in February 2008, February 2010, June 2011, November 2011 and January 2013. Since February 2008, and through December 3, 2013, the company has repurchased more than 4.2 million shares for around $152 million.

This new authorization is expected to commence shortly. It is expected to be completed by the end of fiscal 2015.
