MONTREAL, June 10, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - The 19th edition of the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival ended on a high note last night with a wall to wall crowd who filled streets, bars and restaurants to enjoy the performances of the Montrealer DJ Shortcut, wearing his Expos shirt, and then the outstanding performance of the cover band SOLID HITS.

With Mother Nature in tow, Crescent Street welcomed an estimated 530,000 visitors during the three days, making it one of the most successful event and setting the table June 2019 and the 20th edition of the festival . The Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival is the first and oldest Grand Prix related festival in Montreal and definitely the one who contributed over the years to make Montreal one of the favorite destinations among the F1 drivers. First reports coming from BBF Promotions and Events, the promoter,  indicates an increase in sales of about 5%  from bars and restaurant owners.

Through its amazing performances on the Corona Stage along with numerous interactive booths or activities such as the Degree Pit Stop Challenge or the Kanetix Retro Arcade Zone, the Crescent event provides year-in, year-out activities for all ages. The event remains one of the only major events in Montreal that thrives on private and sponsor money solely. With another success in the books and at least two majors partners - Les Sélections Fréchette and Run 1000 Rally, having confirmed their return , the 20th anniversary event next June will definitely be a celebration to attend. " I can only thank our sponsors who have supported us over the years and made this event possible. We have now surpassed the 7 million visitor mark. We look forward an exciting event next June", said Brian Fogt has the event came to a close last night.
