Corrisoft Announces Change In Executive Leadership
LEXINGTON, Ky., Dec. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Corrisoft, a technology and services company serving the corrections industry, today announced Bill Johnson has stepped down as President and CEO effective immediately. Corrisoft's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jim Webb, will take over as Corrisoft's new President and CEO, ensuring a seamless transition with no impact on day-to-day operations or customer relations. Johnson joined Corrisoft in March 2013 as President and assumed the role of President and CEO in January 2014. He successfully guided the organization through several strategic initiatives, including the acquisition of both iSECUREtrac and Paperless Business Solutions. Prior to Corrisoft, Johnson spent over two decades in the manufacturing industry, and he will return to this field starting in January.
"Over the last several years Corrisoft's primary focus has been to develop strategic business opportunities and strengthen internal operations. I am honored to have led this organization during these initiatives, and I am deeply satisfied by the fact we successfully achieved the mission of defining and establishing the company's core product offering," said Johnson. "After long deliberation, I reached the conclusion that it is the right time for me to hand over the reins and allow new leadership to guide the company through its next phase of sales and revenue growth," Johnson said.
Jim Webb has been a member of Corrisoft's executive team since joining the company in 2013. He previously served as the Vice President of Software Development before being named Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Corrisoft, Webb spent over 20 years in various leadership roles with IBM and Lexmark International, many of which required him to oversee sales efforts and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions.
"It goes without saying that Bill did a tremendous job establishing Corrisoft's strong foundation. I'm simply building on the momentum he created and guiding Corrisoft forward in an effort to achieve the company's customer acquisition and market growth objectives," said Webb. "Our AIR program is already helping many community supervision agencies drive better outcomes. Now it is a matter of expanding our customer reach to support even more community supervision agents in their efforts to facilitate the broad set of services fostering re-entry and rehabilitation," Webb said.
Corrisoft's AIR program is a smartphone-based community supervision solution that enables agencies to more consistently communicate with participants, more effectively deliver support services, and better manage client activity.
