Concho Announces Promotion of E. Joseph Wright and Jack F. Harper

Concho Resources Inc. (NYSE: CXO) ("Concho" or the "Company") today announced the promotions of E. Joseph Wright to Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and Jack F. Harper to Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff.

Mr. Wright has been with the Company since its inception in 2004 in a variety of capacities, including his most recent position as Senior Vice President—Engineering & Operations. Mr. Harper has been with the Company since 2006 in a variety of positions, including his most recent position as Senior Vice President—Business Development & Capital Markets.
