CompuDyne Announces New Head of Attack Protection Group; Brad Wiggins

ANNAPOLIS, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 10, 2005--CompuDyne Corporation (NASDAQ:CDCY), an industry leader in sophisticated security products, integration and technology for the public security markets, announced that it has appointed Brad B. Wiggins as President of its Attack Protection group. Wiggins will have full operating responsibility for Norshield, Attack Protection's bullet, blast and attack resistant products company in Montgomery, Alabama, as well as the group's perimeter sensor company, Fiber SenSys, in Tualatin, Oregon.
Wiggins, with a BS and MS in Civil Engineering, has spent most of his career at Owens Corning Corporation. He has managed businesses for Owens Corning in the U.S., Belgium and India. Wiggins' extensive background in composites is expected to contribute to Attack Protection's strategic plan to extend the range and depth of its attack protection products. His extensive experience dealing with governments and large commercial customers around the world is expected to lead to significantly expanded distribution for Attack Protection products.
