Community Health Systems To Sell Weatherford, Texas Hospital To HCA

(RTTNews) - Community Health Systems, Inc. (CYH) announced late Tuesday that its subsidiaries have signed a definitive agreement to sell 103-bed Weatherford Regional Medical Center in Weatherford, Texas, and its associated assets to subsidiaries of HCA Healthcare (HCA).

The transaction is expected to close in the fall of 2017, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.

Community Health Systems noted that Weatherford Regional Medical Center is one of the 30 planned hospital divestitures discussed on the company's first quarter 2017 earnings call.
