Comcast Offers "Freeview” of "NFL RedZone”
Comcast today announced that it will bring the NFL's national "freeview” of NFL RedZone to all of its digital video customers. The "freeview” will be available this Sunday, September 19 starting at 1:00 p.m. ET.
"NFL RedZone delivers all of the touchdowns, key moments, and nonstop action that NFL fans want to see every Sunday afternoon, live in HD,” said Matt Lederer, Senior Manager, Video and Sports Marketing. "Across the country, NFL fans have spoken and there’s no question, NFL RedZone is the best and most affordable way to follow live game coverage, up-to-the-minute fantasy stats and the most thrilling moments in football.”
Produced by NFL Network, NFL RedZone airs every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. ET through late-afternoon games, delivering Comcast Sports Entertainment Package (SEP) customers touchdowns and the most exciting moments as they happen and in high definition. On Sunday afternoons throughout the NFL regular season, when a team goes inside the 20-yard line, viewers see the crucial plays live. NFL RedZone keeps fans up-to-date in real time, moving from game to game each time a team is poised to score inside the 20-yard line.
Comcast’s sports lineup offers viewers the most live sports, including more than 120 NFL games in HD, Sunday games on FOX and CBS, Sunday Night Football on NBC, Monday Night Football on ESPN and Thursday Night Football on NFL Network. Comcast’s Sports Entertainment Package also includes the NFL RedZone, major professional sports networks, as well as CBS College Sports, Fox College Sports, Fox Soccer, Gol TV, the Tennis Channel and other sports networks.
