Comcast Brings Expert Advice on Internet Safety to Consumers Through Video On Demand and Comcast.net Security Web Page

Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq:CMCSK, CMCSA), the nation’s leading provider of entertainment, information and communications products and services, today announced that it is offering Internet Safety programming on Video On Demand (VOD) and has launched new consumer resources on its Internet Security Web page www.comcast.net/security. June is National Internet Safety Month and as the nation’s leading residential Internet Service Provider, Comcast is committed to providing a safe and secure online experience for its customers. Our goal is to ensure our customers are provided the means and education to protect themselves and their families.” VIDEO ON DEMAND Throughout the month, VOD customers can access a PBS FRONTLINE documentary called Growing Up Online. The film examines the effect that the Internet and "digital world” have on the social and emotional lives of teenagers. Growing Up Online can be found under "Help & Services” in the "Hi-Speed Internet” folder on VOD. "Comcast’s inclusion of FRONTLINE’s Growing Up Online as a free Video On Demand offering throughout the month of June will provide an opportunity for Comcast viewers to experience the private worlds that teenagers create online and to understand the real risks and realities of teen life on the Internet,” say FRONTLINE Executive Producer David Fanning.
