Today, the supervisory board of Colonia Real Estate AG,Cologne, signed a contract appointing Edgar Krauss, 46, to be a newmember of the management board of the company. The contract durationis three years, beginning on July 1, 2006, or earlier if Mr. Krauss isreleased prior to this from his duties at Aareal Bank. In parallelChristian Grosch will resign as planned from the management board butwill maintain his duties. The new management board member tasks willinclude the entire responsibility of the real-estate operations,including property acquisitions and sales, financing models, internalinvestment processes, and the monitoring and further expansion of theasset management activities. Mr. Krauss has been employed in severalleading positions at the Aareal Bank in Wiesbaden since 2002 and withHVB Bank before. In his last function as branch manager for North- andWestern Germany, he was also responsible for servicing internationalinvestors in real estate financing in Germany.
