Coca-Cola FEMSA Q2 Profit Down 25% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A.B. de C.V. (KOF) reported a 25 percent decline in profit for the second quarter from last year, while revenues increased.

Second-quarter net income attributable to equity holders of the company declined 25 percent from last year to 2.01 billion Mexican pesos. Earnings per share were 0.97 Mexican pesos.

On a comparable basis, net income declined 12.7 percent to 2.20 billion Mexican pesos. Comparable earnings per share were 1.06 pesos in the quarter.

Revenues for the quarter increased 9.3 percent on a reported basis to 39.94 billion Mexican pesos.

Comparable revenues grew 9.1 percent to 38.54 billion Mexican pesos, driven by average price per unit case growth across most of the company's operations and volume growth in Mexico and Central America.
