CNA Announces Tom Allen as Vice President, Boston Branch

BOSTON, Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA today announced the appointment of Tom Allen as Vice President of the Boston Branch, effective January 2, 2018. In this role, Allen will be responsible for leading the branch in cultivating deeper relationships with producers and accelerating CNA's market presence in the Boston territory. He will report to Jim Romanelli, Senior Vice President and Northeastern Zone Officer.

"Tom is a proven leader with nearly three decades of industry experience and a strong knowledge of the Boston marketplace," Romanelli said. "His expertise in underwriting and portfolio management make him uniquely suited to lead the branch and will ensure we continue to build relationships and serve the needs of our local agents and brokers."  

Allen joins CNA from AIG's Property & Casualty division, most recently serving as Managing Director for the Boston Region. He has also held other leadership roles at AIG, including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Field Operations, Vice President and Regional Manager, and Regional Manager of National Accounts.
