ChipMOS September Revenues Rise 13.5%

(RTTNews) - ChipMOS Technologies Ltd. (IMOS), a provider of semiconductor testing services, said revenues for the month of September rose to $62.7 million from $55.2 million a year earlier.

For the third quarter ended September 30, revenues increased by 13.6 percent to $190.7 million from $167.9 million a year ago. Analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters had a consensus revenue estimate of $189.9 million. Analysts estimates typically exclude one-time items.

The company further said it expects third-quarter gross margin to be at the top of its prior guidance of 23 percent to 26 percent.

ChipMOS' shares closed Wednesday at $21.81 on Nasdaq.
