China Lodging Group Q2 Results Top Estimates

(RTTNews) - China Lodging Group, Ltd. (HTHT) reported net income for the second quarter of RMB149.2 million or RMB2.32 per ADS, compared to RMB124.2 million or RMB1.97 per ADS for the year-ago quarter.

Excluding share-based compensation expenses, adjusted earnings per ADS for the latest quarter were RMB2.53.

Net revenues for quarter increased 16.9% to RMB1.46 billion from RMB1.25 billion a year ago.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn RMB2.07 Per ADS on revenue of RMB1.40 billion for the second quarter.

Looking forward, the company said it expects third net revenues to grow 11.5% to 13.5% year-over-year. The company raised its full year net revenues forecast to grow 11.5% to 13.5%.
