HONG KONG, Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Reference is made to the press releases by China CITIC Bank International Limited (the "Company") dated 14 February 2019, 25 February 2019, 27 February 2019 and 27 February 2019 (together, the "Press Releases") relating to the offer to purchase (the "Offer") for cash any and all of the Notes validly tendered (and not validly withdrawn) by holders and accepted for purchase, on the terms and conditions set forth in the tender offer memorandum dated 14 February 2019 (the "Tender Offer Memorandum"). Capitalised terms used but not otherwise defined here shall have the meaning given to them in the Press Releases and the Tender Offer Memorandum.

Completion of the Offer

The Company hereby announces that payment of the Tender Consideration plus Accrued Interest for all Notes validly tendered (and not validly withdrawn) and accepted for purchase by the Company has been made on 28 February 2019.

Pursuant to the settlement of the Offer, US$195,616,000 in aggregate principal amount of Notes were purchased and cancelled by the Company. US$304,384,000 of the aggregate principal amount of Notes remain outstanding.
