Celanese Names Mark Oberle as Vice President, Investor Relations

    DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 15, 2005--Celanese Corporation (NYSE:CE) today announced the appointment of Mark Oberle as vice president Investor Relations, effective immediately. He is based in Dallas. Oberle joins Celanese from Navistar International Corp., where he most recently directed the Investor Relations function. Prior to heading Investor Relations, he led Activity Based Management for Navistar. He has also held positions in sales, marketing, finance and accounting for Navistar's Brazilian operations.
    Oberle earned a bachelor of science degree in business computer systems and an M.B.A. from Bradley University.
