Castlight Health Q2 Loss Widens; Issues Q3 Outlook

(RTTNews) - Castlight Health, Inc.(CSLT) reported second-quarter net loss of $21.8 million, wider than $14.2 million in the prior year period. Loss per share for the latest second quarter narrowed to $0.24 from $1.47 last year.

Revenue for the latest second quarter increased to $10.53 million from $2.33 million.

On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.23 per share on revenues of $9.50 million. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the third quarter, the company expects non-GAAP loss per share of $0.21 and revenue in the range of $11.3 million to $11.6 million.

For full year 2014, the company expects non-GAAP loss per share of $1.00 to $1.01 and revenue in the range of $42.6 million to $43.2 million.
